Coupe wheels on a 06x Sedan

Help Please,

The local tire nerds are telling me that this will not fit on a 06x Sedan? Is that true? I have read a couple of posts where people say they are running a 30mm offset. Is the problem with the 9in rear? The car is completely stock, coupe springs just arrived yesterday.

Help please.

PRODUCT: G35 Style 10 Spoke Coupe
FRONT WHEEL SIZE: 18x8
FRONT WHEEL OFFSET: 30mm
REAR WHEEL SIZE: 18x9
REAR WHEEL OFFSET: 35mm
BOLT PATTERN: 5-114.3

They are a perfect fit, there's tons of people on here running coupe wheels on their sedans. I wouldn't listen to them nor bother going to them...

So you can put the Coupe wheels in the sedan without rolling the fender?

It's not the wheels that's the problem. It's the tire diameters. The rear tires are taller than the fronts. That means the fronts will spin faster than the rears at speed and you'll risk wrecking the AWD system. Put tires on the car that are the same diameter and you'll be fine.

Guys I think he's talking about the G37 coupe rims. OP follow DaveB's advice and just put the same tire sizes on the front and back. You'll be fine.

Will probably need a drop though to correctly pull it off or your X will look like a Land Rover. BTW OP they are 19" rims as well, not 18s and I think you have the offsets wrong.

Edit: now I'm confused. OP are you talking about the coupe rays from the 05-07 coupe (split 5 spoke) or the 10 spoke from the G37? The specs you mentioned don't fit either of these but are closer to the 05-07 rims.

^ Nah, I don't think he's referring to the first gen sedan sport rims that look like coupe rays 19".

Those are 18x7.5, +38 front and +45 rear.

Pics of the wheel OP?

I have a set of the coupe 18" wheels on my sedan with 235 45 18 tires on the front and back no problems with rubbing. I also have a set of coupe rays 19" wheels also no problems.

Coupe 18s are not Staggered, they came with staggered tire from factory. They are 18x8 all around you can put them on your car and have the same tires.

I know those wheels is what you are talking about from beginning and yes they WILL DEFINITELY fit on our X. If they it don't fit their really noobie or what they might meant is that you have to run same tire diameter mentioned stated above.

TBH, get the wheels mount and balanced and install it yourself. Don't go back or listen to that place again.

Thank you all.... I love this very addicting website.... Does anyone have a picture of coupe wheels on a X sedan with a +30mm offset? I would love to see what they might look like.

Cheers!
