Re: Spoiler Depot

Getgo,

It looks great. How long did it take you to put it on. Was it easy?

Re: Spoiler Depot

Nice, I think that looks better than the factory spoiler.

Good work.

Re: Spoiler Depot

I think it's a factory style replica.

But I see a pattern here,... the only posts I see with aftermarket spoiler installs have been Desert Plat's... is that strange or what?

Re: Spoiler Depot

I had an Auto Body Shop do the install I didn't want to mess it up. Cost me $65.00 I dropped the car off at 8AM and it was done by 11AM.

Re: Spoiler Depot

How close was the paint matched? Looks great on the sedan.

Thanks,

Re: Spoiler Depot

I've found some spoilers on ebay too - they're currently asking $135 for a painted one and $105 for unpainted.

Does anybody know what's involved with installation? Is it something I can do at home? I assume that drilling the trunk lid is involved - is that correct?

Re: Spoiler Depot

townsley: A few have tried the install at home... I think one wrote some instructions up.. It does involve drilling the trunk.. some said they got it done in four or five hours without a problem.. and some (like this thread) went and got it installed.. If you search on the forums you should find install instructions...

hot4carz: Do you think there is a way to remove the 3rd brake light? I havent taken a look at it to see whats holding it in place...
