Question about Hood hinge Maintenance

So my car is in the paint shop this week, and they are putting on new hood hinges that I bought as well as repairing the damage the old ones caused.

Ive done a search and havent found anything, I just wanted to know how often I should lube up the hinges? What product should I use, and how should I apply it?

Thanks for your input

I would try some White Lithium Spray Lube.

I have used Motorcycle Chain lube on a few things like hinges before, but its mainly because I always have some laying around. It usually works pretty well.
