I think it might look better color matched.

SkyLine350GTs,

The grill looks ok. I think the black looks better on a black car, like mine.

<a href="http://www.shaunmathur.com/_images/Grill_Instructions">Here</a> are some pics of a black grill on a black car and a silver grill on a black car. as you'll notice, the black/black looks much better. maybe color matching is the way to go???

<a href="http://www.shaunmathur.com/_images/Grill_Instructions/2003-2004_Infiniti_G35_Sedan_Grill_Instructions.pdf">He re</a> is a guide to install.

I made mine just to get rid of the "fake chrome" look of the stock grill. hopefully you'll think it's a nice, affordable, alternative for the sedan.

Re: Got my Grill from CustomCarGrills.

check the post above. the grills were on a special for a week, so i think the black ones were $51 shipped. check with customcargrills.com now if you're still interested.

i'm slowly going to move everything to Matt now, since he sells them and now has the install guide.

i can always answer questions if you need help, especially since i designed the grill and have a g35 sedan that i can take pics with if needed.

Re: Got my Grill from CustomCarGrills.

you should really try integrating some clips on there rather than zip ties. it may give it a cleaner look...

Re: Got my Grill from CustomCarGrills.

lol...why are you bothering me again?

anyway, to answer your suggestion...
yes, clips would be cleaner, but building the frame for it would be very time consuming and very expensive.

Snapped these quickly before I could cut the ties....mmmmm...chicken marsala.....dinner... Lol! For the instructions I would add to make sure you have a long, thin flathead screwdriver for those plastic squares. I also found the back end of a ball peen hammer helpful for the shaping.
