Well decided to try something different with an old set of wheels. Had these laying around for the last year or so since I got my Rays.. They were originally chrome as you can see in the 3rd photo, had them sand blasted yesterday and started prep work for paint. Going to go with cobalt blue like in 2nd photo. Let me know what you think.

 

IMHO, the blue is too vivid for a black sedan.

Maybe something darker, like Pantone 276C with a silver pearl?

It works on the sliver Subie, but two things apply there: 1, it's sliver and that's a better match; 2, it's a Subaru, and they can get away with outlandish stuff a lot better.
