I know that the front suspension issues have been beat to death but one thing I notice that has not been mentioned is: The brakes rattle and pulsate also when tapping the brake pedal at higher speeds. I replaced the rotors and did brakes not long ago and also have the same rattling or clunking coming from front when hitting bumps on the road. I purchased compression rods but when I went to install it appeared that they looked really good and may have been even replaced sometime in the past. The other thing was that I could not get the inner bushing off the bolt that is mounted to frame...I did not not want to wreck it taking it out until I could call dealer and find out the service history and if in fact the rods were replaced. Is there a connection to the pulsating brakes and the clunking in the front end and could it maybe be more related to swaybar bushings or end links? How do you get rust solvent in the sleeve bushing on the compression rod or free it up without wrecking anything?
