Exhaust question, emissions testing. New member (Be easy)

First off let me say, great website. you guys all do a great job supporting fellow G owners. I have been lurking for a while while I decided what G I was going to buy.

Question I have is I am looking to change out the exhaust on my 03 sedan but I live in Ohio and have to pass emission testing. I am looking to get input from other owners that are in the same boat as I am and let me know what kind of exhaust you have out on your car that kept you legal and still sounds/looks nice. I have searched and read a lot on here as far as what kind of exhausts are available for our cars but I really wanted to get some specific setups and ideas from people.

Keep up the great job guys and I will surely be posting quite a bit more when I get more familiar with my car.

Not sure what your emissions restrictions are like but in CA you can't change your Cats, meaning you won't pass with test pipes and more than likely won't pass with HFCs if they do a visual inspection. For us who have swapped out our cats, we just install our stock cats when it comes time to get smogged.

Doesn't have to be crazy loud. I do want to be able to tell its aftermarket when I get on it though.

I have looked through all these video clips and threads but its hard to get an idea of the true sound not being able to hear in person.

In Ohio we need Cats and from what I understand they can not be changed out. No test pipes and no HFC'c will work. I am stuck with sticking to the stock Cats. Another dilemma I am having is when I bought the car it needed a new Y pipe (knew that when I bought it) and I had that replaced with a stock pipe not knowing if I was going to upgrade. Now I am debating if I should just keep the stock Y pipe and do everything behind it?
