Yeap - that was the thread that made me pick up UT's spoiler. I don't want to knock you davemac, and it's great that you have a buddy in a bodyshop. But, I'm not so lucky. After reading alfapwr and calejohnson's i decided i'd rather just pay for something that was made for out sedans.

When does this offer expire? I want to call my body shop and see what they will charge for painting it DG. Just curious, UT, why not sell them pre-painted in G colors? I am giving this alot of thought. I was not a fan of the OEM wing, but this looks pretty darn good.

Anyone know how much it would cost to have it painted at a body shop?

I'll post that when I call my bodyshop later today. I am guessing in the 100-150 range with the flex agent.

Painting should be around $100 avg. Guess ultimately depending on where u get it done. I personally like the UT spoiler.

I was quoted $140 at the body shop my dealer uses. Comes to $300 with the spoiler.

When will we have information to purchase the spoiler?

$140 does seem like a lot. I wonder if cost more because my car is ivory pearl? Anyone else quoted a lower price in the DC area?

I'm no body shop expert, but I think the paint materials costs are the same whether they need only a 1/2 pint or a quart- which might help to explain what seems like a lot of money for such a small spoiler.

i got quoted a little over $100 also, it all depends on what they do, the type of paint they use, coats, etc, etc.

for those of you trying to get UT's spoiler, it's on their site http://www.unlimitedtuning.com or you can pm them "UnlimitedTuning"
