You can't put Z struts on the front in an 04X

Springs will ft, just not the struts.
I have a set of unrevised 350Z springs that I'll be posting soon if you are interested. I think that they will lower the X a little over an inch(about the same ride height as a rwd with 350z springs).

How much? Do you think i will need to replace the struts as well or do you think I can go longer?

Ok...forgive me for being a little dense. Just need to clarify my options here.

1. Get Z springs and shocks for front and Coupe springs/shocks for rear = lowered suspension 1"

2. buy complete Z springs and shocks front and rear = lowered suspension 1"

Do I have this right? What's the difference in ride?

You don't necessarily need new shocks/struts, but having coupe/Z springs will shorten the life of your current shocks because they're not designed for that spring rate.

Also, for the first option, some people find that as a more even drop (meaning, the rear is not sitting lower than the front). I never had that problem on my car though. I have a full 08 Z suspension and the drop was an even 1" all around.

I would suspect the Z shocks/struts are a bit more stiff than the G35 coupe ones. Definitely more stiff than the OEM sedan ones I had on previously.

Ok, I have the 350z and Couple springs on order. Now looking at Shocks. Is there any reason why I couldn't use G35 Coupe shocks all around?

Nope, no reason you couldn't. I ran 350Z shocks/struts.

Already seems like a money pit. Get coils and call it a day. 1 inch drop is not enough and u will waste more time than anything

Nope, they just control the springs rebound and compression.
