A warm idle should be in the 600-650rpm range. Have you messed around with the throttle body recently?

It's a long story DaveB, but my idle is set up that way (flashed)...my question is about the MAF reading

On a hot engine at 650 rpm, my MAF reads about 3.6 g/s (gallons per second, I assume). Not sure how that translates to lbs/m.

Thanks for the info, from the conversion calculator I'm looking at 3.6 g/s (gram/second) is 0.48 lbs/m so I guess my MAF sensor is reading correctly

Thanks

Yeah... so gallons are not a measurement of mass... and it is a Mass Air Flow sensor... just sayin

Oh also, I just checked mine...

1000 RPM (just started) 1.2 lb/m
725 RPM (idle w/ AC on) .8 lb/m
650 RPM (warm idle) .5 lb/m

^No. it's an aftermarket long-tube CAI and conical filter.

Your readings sound like volts not lbs/m

I'm at a warm idle with 800rpm and a .56-.58 lb/m stock airbox with k&n filter. Just cleaned the filter, do I need to add more filter oil to it? Lessen the airflow freedom? The Check engine light got thrown on a few minutes ago.
