I have the premium package on my '05, and imo, it was worth the $3k they charged, whether you use all of the features or not, is up to you to decide. I personally like how:
1) the seat goes back, and the wheel goes up and away when I want to get out

2) rear seats reclining, great for rear passengers, if you have any

3) auto headlights, incase you forget on a overcast day and don't drain your battery

you have to remember that this is YOUR car, get what you like, and seeing some of the things you want, you may end up paying almost that much for al la carting the items......

 

thnx for the feedback chutio. I'm thinking bout leaning towards just having sports, sunroof. It would be nice to have those features, but not for $3000 more. Anybody have dealer prices and experiences from DFW?

Take the paper work with you and demand $500 over invoice on whatever make/model/option. I use edmunds.com. If they won't budge than change your game plan from there. It's all about the market place.

I'm leaning towards the '05 6MT Sedan with few or no options($30,450 msrp/$28,013 invoice.) It comes standard with Sport-tuned Suspension Package and I don't want a sunroof. IMHO, the important stuff already comes standard and a close look at the premium package reveals that it isn't worth $3,000. I'll use some of the savings to put in a real audio system.
