so here's the final product. really polished these things up and wanted them to look oem but, clean.

got a second set that i'm working on polishing for a friend or to sell for his Z. here's the progress

i start off wth a rough sandpaper then gradually work my way down. i could probably get them to a mirror finish with my flapper wheel but don't wanna bling factor. really wanna swap in some z signal switches because of the silverish color they have. really got my eye out for z suspension so i can get the car lowered 1". could i use just the springs or do i need the shocks/struts as well?

If it was me, I'd take them to 800 grit and then hit them with some 000 steel wool in one direction only. After that, do a matte clearcoat or else they will oxidize quickly.

For Z suspension, do the shocks/struts as well. I bought Z springs and new Tokico HPs; they feel great.

As for the turn stalks, I don't know if they're direct plug and play.

You just use the clutch pedal from a 6MT car.

These started in '05 I beleive in the 6MT's, and the 5AT parts are from an FX35 I think.

Yup Mustang hit the nail on the head with that one. I had to customize mine to make it fit a lil better, which was just a lil bit of rubber shaving and super glue. But the end result came out nice!

Thought I was gonna be happen with my pedals until I saw the clutch pedal being used as the parking break. Let my search begin....also, I'm gonna try and switch over the turn signals and such. I will do something productive for an "oooohhhh" or "ahhhh"

Just gotta remember to bring my steering wheel puller.

Alittle off subject but does anyone need any parts while I'm out there?
