Nothing worse than when you know you messed up... the people you look to for advice, tell you how bad you messed up. What's the purpose of this forum if we can't look for advice without getting name called??

I think Billy has learned his lesson and if the dealer makes him pay to fix it, isn't that enough ??

How many other people on this board have "hidden" their mods and screwups before taking their cars into the dealer to get them to "fix" it. Billy is not the first and I guarantee he won't be the last !!

Unfortunately I have often made the mistake of confusing this moron with another SOCAL member with a similar handle. That member is a well intentioned highly intelligent person who contributes endlessly to the well being of this community...and this guy is just a *****

we're here to help each other out...... god knows how many of us love to mod our cars so we can find out the potential of the VQ... if it weren't for the aftermarket and mod crowd.... all of our cars would look boring, and the ride woould be mondane.... his car was wacked... the stress on that alone will make him realized that he messed up....... let's be helpful, not judgmental!!!!

Matt, did they tell you what was wrong with the car. I actually just found this post so I missed all the "drama" . Just curious if you were able to get it fixed and what they said was the problem.

who the hell is matt?

the dealer couldn't tell me anything. not suprising. so i took it back home and let the car idle for a while thinking that the ecu had to re-learn whatever i had messed up. then i noticed that the tube for the MAF sensor was crimped. i uncrimped it, did the pedal reset thing and it was all good.

i did a stupid thing. and learned my lesson. i do alot of stupid things but i keep on getting smarter.

Sorry I was basically posting under the influence since I was mostly still asleep - had a brain fart! My fault.

Figure that the dealer couldn't find that - it requires actually looking. I'd *HAVE* to call them and tell them what fixed it. LOL
