engine sound when accelerating quickly in the morning

Hi guys,
I have an 06 g35x sedan and maybe its the temperature change but just recently in the mornings when i start the car and go (i dont wait for it to warm up i just go, not sure if thats a good idea?) the engine or what i think is the engine makes a weird noise when i accelerate quickly. There is usually no noise at all if I am just cruising. This noise goes away after about a minute or two after warming up the engine myself and not waiting lol. What could this be?

It's OK to start the car and drive (depending on how cold it is) but I would just take it easy until the car reaches normal operating temps.

Warming up means let the car sit and idle for 20 mins. You don't need to do that.

BUT, you still gotta take it easy until oil and coolant are up to temperature. That means you cant just floor it out of the driveway as soon as you start it up. You should still drive it carefully for 10-15 mins until everything is all nice and toasty.

As for the sound, without hearing it or knowing where it comes from on the engine, not much we can tell you.

+1 and it really only takes about 2 minutes for the g to warm up... well im in florida so its always hot over here but you should never "floor it" while the car is still cold

If the weird engine sound is when the engine is cold but not at operating temp then you know why.

Easy on the engine until its up to temp.

Cold oil doesn't flow. So when ypu start pushing an engine with cold oil, you can really do some damage.
