One thing I absolutley hate about our G35s and pretty sure everyone does too...

So few days ago I stop outside my house after a drive. As I get out my iphone falls into the crevice between the seat and the middle. Due to my extremely muscular build and my ability to bench press and squat 500lbs( jk), my hands were too big to fit between and get my phone. I moved my seat forward and back to get more space to fit my hand into but I stopped as I didnt want to risk cracking the screen if it was nudged onto something. Good thing my brother was home and hes quite skinny and he had no problem getting it for me.

30 mins ago I drop my lighter in the same spot but this time Im in a parking lot and I had no one to help me. After much MUCH struggle I managed to retrieve my lighter. It took around 25 mins

Is there a trick of some sort to get things easily between your seat if they happen to fall in there? Im sure EVERYBODY here has that that happen to them. Its just redic that I need to spend so much time to get something because everything was so tightly packed.

share your methods please

Move the seat all the way forward and you'll be able to get your "stuff" a lot easy going from the back seat.

I think I have about $300 dollars in change down there

I lost 2 phones this way. I obviously didn't learn my lesson after I broke the first one.

dropped my keys down there about 1 week after picking up the car, took me about 10 minutes to get them out! I think the seat control switch frame make this part of the seat quite rigid. Most car seats are quite flexible and it is much easier to get your hands down to retrieve items..

I had that problem also.
I now have a mechanical pick up tool that gets into tight places. You can get them from most automotive tool supplier. They are only around $8.
They are also great for retrieving dropped parts in any cramped area

Here is a pic of one, You squeeze the handle and fingers come out of the end to grab the part or article.

agreed. this is the easiest way for me to get anything thats fallen between the seats. its still a tight squeeze, but its better than trying to jam your hands between the seat and center console.

Vie dropped my iPhone, ikey and about $100 in change down there.

One time I had to just leave the ikey in the car for a few hours until I could find a random kid tp reach down there and pull it out. I couldn't lock the doors but anyone could hop in and start it and drive off.
