Names Jimmy BTW, what's yours? Or is it Aaron lol. I should be getting the car done by end of next week, we're really just waiting on the Kurookie bumper to get shipped and arrive at the shop.

thr painting with the mirror's and door handles and rear bumper still on the car? When I was getting my car painted they took off the windows, bumpers, lights, door handles and gas cap etc before they even started to prep.

I might put it in storage, not sure...worst case I might just get a good quality car cover. But definitely have to put away for the winter. Last winter was hell on this car. What about you?

Guess each shop have their own way of doing it. I mean they masked off the windows, door handles, and everything else pretty tight. Only thing I'm worried is that the engine bay got real dusty from the sanding. But the shop said they'll detail the whole car when finished.

Could go with a subtle change in color, that way it wouldnt be very noticable at the jambs to the untrained eye, but all the g35peeps would give you mad props yo

I think if a shop is cutting corners & not taking everything off...which is another hour or so of work I would be worried about where else they would be cutting corners in the prep and paint....my paintjob cost 6.5k just for the paint job.

I have to drive my car all winter. I'm so over keeping it dent and scratch free -it's not possible! It's the only car I own, although I can use my parent's cars once in a while if needed. RWD can be fun in the snow, but not when you can't get up the driveway. I mean how often does it snow heavy? And I can always not go to work.

As far up the driveway as I could get with a running start:

What shop is doing the paint? The place I've gone to can't match Diamond Graphite. My car is like 8 different colors. Hahaha

I'm getting my car painted at my friends brothers shop. They're hooking me up. I looked at your garage profile and you got your car repainted and mixed with another color, that bumps the price of the job up, especially if they had to do door jams and completely make the whole car another color...All in all im happy with the work so far...we'll see when they're completely finished. And they did take the side mirrors off...

I couldn't get anywhere last year with even 1 inch of snow the ground lol, well until i noticed that my rear tires were bald Then got some blizzak snow tires for the rear, and that completely changed the way it drove in the snow...I just don't want to crack the prettty kurookie bumper because last year the OEM bumper cracked due to me driving through tough snow conditions.
