03 sedan questions

hey guys, ive been on the forum for some time now..and i used to own a DG coupe, until i wrecked her.

but yeah, i now own a 03 s2000 and im looking to get another g35..but ive decided to go down the sedan route, since i already own a coupe now, and i have some pretty noob questions to ask if you guys dont mind helping me out, any input is greatly appreciated. ive found a 6mt sedan for a pretty good price and before i jump on it, id like to know some things

are 03 trunks compatible with 04 trunks? no offense to anyone but i hate the 03 trunk with the trunk handle, and if it is compatible, will i just need to purchase an 04 trunk and everything will line up? if not, what other alternative trunks are there that i can use? also, with the front bumper, i can purchase an 05+ bumper and itll just be able to line up wouldnt it?

hello! and welcome back! now to answer your questions

1. all trunks are interchangeable.. though not sure what difference it would make on an 03 doggy vs one not... im sure it isnt anything major as some has done this also because they dislike the handle.

other options? Oh yeah!

2. no.. the 05-06 bumper wont work on your 03-04 unless u change the hood/grill and headlights. but at that note... there are some great bumpers coming out and are poly too! nismo? Rookie? hmm... so dont need to go getting an 05-06 oem. change her up!

thanks alot, and yeah ill most likely look into the poly nismo fronts, ive always loved nismo bumpers,

and thanks alot for answering all my questions, but as for the trunk, if i got the version of the trunk without the handle, do 03 sedans come with a "trunk open" button inside the vehicle? what about on the key fob?..

also, for the side moldings? would you guys suggest taking the moldings off ?or keeping them on? anyone have a pic with the side molding off?

thank you again for the replies

yes, it would be right where you can dim your dash/interior lighting as well as the keyfob.
