which rear lip?

im having a hard time decide between the 2 rear lips: icon dynamics nismo replica (fiberglass) vs stillen (poly), I would like to hear the inputs from the forum everybody, i like the styling of the nismo but it is fiberglass, and the stillen is a lil aggressive but is in poly, given they cost almost the same. thanks for the inputs.

Do you have a front? Sides?

The Nismo is the cleaner version and more subtle, but the stillen suits the G very well.

Don't worry about the poly vs glass on the rear lip as it only needs to be fitted once and mounted. It doesn't see any road contact or heavy bumps so you won't have an issue with it.

Since you said you like the styling of the Nismo then I would go with that one. Like Blain (4DGS) said, there is no reason to be concerned that its FG.

If you're doing nismo front and sides then definitely do nismo rear. Personally I think the stillen would clash with the smoothness of the Nismo front.

IMO, the Stillen lip doesn't clash. I have the Nismo front, painted OEM sides, and Stillen rear lip. The car now has a wingless trunk which only improves the look.

Yeah I don't think the stillen rear clashes with the rest. I prefer the look of the nismo rear so thats the route I would go though

Clash was the wrong word, sorry. I just mean the nismo flows better with the other nismo parts.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Take my advice and make a decision then stick to it. I finally made my decisions for my DD build after months of waffling between parts, it was exhausting. Now it feels like a huge weight was removed from me since there are no more decisions to be made.

Not that it matters much, but Dave's sedan has stock sides (not Nismo). It's still a sweet looking ride with the stillen rear. There are other sedans (might do a quick search) with the stillen rear and other combinations that look equally great.

But, since you are looking for opinions, mine is NISMO!!!

GL!

Used to have the Stillen rear lip. Changed to a Nismo rear lip because I messed up the installation on the driver side which caused a gap.
