S-03's in Snow... THX, VDC!
What a nice trip home from the Memphis Airport today. It's been sleeting here since about noon today, and the roads are covered in ice. Rush hour traffic in Memphis has never been quite the same... The City of Memphis probably does not own one salt truck.
Needless to say, my S-03's were next to useless. The slip light was flashing about every other second all the way home. What a journey! Cars off the road right and left. I was being ultra-careful, but if it weren't for the VDC, I am pretty sure I would have been off the road, too. It saved my bacon at least a half-dozen times.
Most always, I CUSS that darn VDC, or "mute" it. But today, it was a different story. It was a real lifesaver.
Whew! Glad to be home in one piece.

I still have my stock rims with the original Turanza A/W tires. The set has zero miles on it, as I had the dealership install aftermarket tires/wheels right out of the box. What I need to do is see if the stock tires/wheels will still fit... I have a Stillen big brake kit (14.25" rotors) installed [on the front], and I doubt the stock wheels will fit over them. I know the stock wheels will fit in the rear, but that would look odd: stock 17x7's on the back and SSR GT1 18x8's on the front!
