Roadtrip
Hi,
I just finished a 1600 mile trip in my g35 6mt. I'm not going to go into a long winded recap, I will just get to the basic facts:
Seats were very comfortable, I was worried about how they would do on a extended trip. My butt never hurt and I had great support. Gas mileage was good, I averaged 25.1 from San Diego to Las Vegas, I was was very happy with that, I averaged about 70 to 75 MPH all the way. I never figured it out after that as I was going to do some driving on lonely roads at fast speeds after Vegas. I took one road in Nevada at 140 MPH, felt like nothing, car held its own and never even shook or acted like it was going fast, what a blast! Handling was excellent, I took corners two or three times just to see how fast I could increase the speed on the corner. The only person who wanted to race was in a v-6 Ford Escape SUV, not even close. This car resonded excellent to everything I asked it to. One note of caution, at 5000 feet you loose some power as the cars are tuned for sea level. I still had more than enough power, but you could feel the car sucking thin air.
On the down side some [censored] put a scatch in my fender at the Harrahs in Reno. Oh well I will get it fixed, beats a dent.
I have attached a photo of the area where I did 140!

Re: Roadtrip
I did that same trip back in February. Although, I didn't notice the loss of power, as I had my in-laws with me and wasn't trying to push it. They were quite comfortable in the back seat for the whole trip, as well. I have the sport suspension, and it's quite smooth on the highway at 70+.
I've only hit 120 myself, car was very stable and quiet. I didn't realize I was going that fast until I looked at the speedometer and promptly slowed down.
