Adjusting D-Specs?
Adjusting D-Specs?
Hi guys,
I just installed D-specs on my sedan with the z/g combo im happy so far but was curious what "settings" is optimal for street. Right now i kind of have a coilover type ride a little stiff in the back. Did i read correctly that the strut needs to be dropped to adjust the dampening or do the cables work on the sedan also?
If it makes a difference im running Hotchkis swaybars.
Thanks.

Do you have the premium package with the reclining rear seats? If so, just recline the seat forward, undo the cloth cover from the rear shelf, and you'll see the top of the struts right there. The cables will work as well, I believe you need to do some drilling to get them up into the cabin.
I don't have the premium package so I just took out my backseat to adjust mine. It's much easier to remove the backseat than to drop the struts. Also you can drive the car with the seat out test different settings.
Thanks for the help guys! My seats do recline so the rear was easy, im running 2 turns from full stiff up front and 3 turns from full stiff in the back pretty happy with it so far.
