I have an 06 coupe and as soon as my winters done im gonna give it a little facelift. I dont have enough money for the rims i want so im just gonna paint the oem forged ones.

what do you guys think:
1) All blacked out- black headlight housing, blacked grill, black rims
2) black headlight housings, gold rims, black grill, gold emblems?
3) Anyone have some other ideas?

im currently paying for school so i dont have a lot of money right now to be buying new parts. That'll come later.

you are in sedan forum btw. But ide say leave it as is. I really dislike painted oem rims. it looks nice and clean right now.

 

Lower your car and save the rest for maintenance. Don't worry about colors too much.

I'm sure the coupe forum will say the same

 

Yes I say lower the car, put some splash guards, black out the grill, and some tints. These simple mods keep the car OEM and classy, perfect for daily drivers. OEM Swag +1 !! haha

But dont paint the Rays though its gonna look really weird. Leave them alloy colored. But from any of the things on your list I would only probably do the black grill.

 

I wouldn't paint those wheels either, they don't look right painted. If you want different coloured rims save up and get them, and sell the Rays, they're worth a lot of money, if you paint them though, they're not worth much to anyone and will be hard to sell.

If you're just itching to modify something go at the black grill and headlights and leave the Infinity Logo Titanium (or whatever colour it's supposed to be)

 

If your gonna paint them black do it right, drop + spacers

 

everythang black, cept you could tint the tails to dark cherry... good contrast

Those rims are worth alot! I would not paint them, they look great as is.

 

You want to do something different.....how about black with copper accents!

 

^I like that. Blacked out rims, especially on a black car, just look silly to me.
