2 different front seat designs are weird looking

I was looking at some pictures of the 05 and noticed that the driver's side seat has these defined tufts, while the passenger seat is flat. Looks goofy and like the seats are mismatched. Funny I never noticed it before and now I have to see it in person before I order. Has anybody else noticed this and does it bother you, or is it just me focusing on something unimportant.

Are you talking about the raised part in between the legs. Yes, I have that on my 05. Asthetically it doesn't bother me, because every car's interior will always be unsymetrical (seeing that there is a stearing wheel on one side and not the other).

I read somewhere that the use of the raised part was to hold the driver more in place in spirited driving.

If you read the brochure, or any info on the G35, you will see it has a "driver specific seat" , has since it came out, that is not something new for '05.

04 seat

My 04 Sedan drivers seat is different than the passenger seat. The difference is that the thigh cusion is sectioned with three seams. The center section is slightly raised probably to help stop the driver from sliding. The passenger thigh bolster only has side seams , no center seam. I can honestly say I never noticed the difference as the look is so very close.
