How many attend HDPE or similar track events with thier 6MT sedans

I have had my 2005 6MT sedan for about a year now. I didn't plan on tracking it at all but spring will be here before you know it and I would like to do a couple of HDPEs with it. It is my main vehicle so I won't be going all out but I won't be taking it easy either. How do these cars fair on the track and does anyone in here do occasional track days? My car is basically stock and the only thing I would probably do is change out the pads.

I used to have a '94 SE-R with a simple GT28R turbo setup that I took to an HPDE and it was a lot of fun. I need to go back!

That's good to here. I am looking for someone to tell me that it won't overheat. Did the car heat up beyond normal at the Auto-X?

Nope, it was fine. Our cars are essentially the same as the Coupe mechanically so maybe posting in the autox/road course section would net more results

Good luck! If you autox I'll see you out there...but not in the G35. Going to be out there with my M3.

Some pics for your inspiration: =p

I autocross mine all the time with little problem. The main issue I have trouble with is overheating power steering fluid resulting in a somewhat sudden loss of power assist. Although, when this was happening I was still running stock fluid (not redline as I am now), and it was at autocross speeds (low air flow). I haven't had a chance to thrash it like I did before with the new fluid.
