I've been looking for an 07x sedan for a buddy of mine and have found several around 15k. If you are willing to travel, you might be able to get an 07. Just look around on craigslist.

Like said before the rev-up was only offered in the 6mt sedan. The horsepower is more but torque is slightly less.

As for the oil burning. I've read up on it a lot when I was doing my research when buying my car. It seems as if any of the vq motors have the possibility of burning oil. It just depends on whether you get one that doesn't or not.

I think you will like a sedan if you buy one! I love mine

You can RWD in snow as long as you aren't doing stupid thinks like floor it. I run mine full year round with some snow tires. Yet to get stuck or spin out. I assume, since you owned coupe and drove it year round, you know how to drive in snow on RWD. RWD are cheaper and you can get manual if you wish. Suspension mods are easier to perform than on X. just my 2 cents.

Actually I have only driven my coupe during the summer. It's in storage right now. That's part of the reason I don't just deal with the coupe situation, it's my baby and I don't want it touching snow! lol. But Yeah I drive pretty safe in winter I just figured why not do the AWD model while I'm at it.

Here is my current coupe;

I think you will like the sedan. Does everything the coupe does, except easier.
1. I agree with Janik, the power difference is nothing really, yes the revup does have 300 hp, but torque took a dive, where as the non-revup was a bit more evened out on the power side. If anything, swap out to a Coupe Mid-Pipe, HR Y-Pipe, Rev-Up Box, Z-tube, Plenum Spacer and a tune.

2. The handling can be fixed, source out a revised 350z Suspension and some OEM 19's.

Welcome to the family, and congrats on your new family! I, too, just found out we have one on the way and am real glad I went the X route- besides the fact that I live in Upstate NY and snow is a way of life for 6 months here, it's just a heck of a lot more convenient and you really don't sacrifice THAT much by way of performance. You'll love the convenience of 4 doors, and the versatility of AWD...

New thread idea...hottest G with a car seat in the back??? hahaha

Once you get a sedan, you'll understand.

Coupes are sick, but a sedan is just classy as hell.

You'll love the X in the snow!

Yeah I'm excited to move to the 4 door. I love my coupe but I kinda of feel like boy racer in it. My wife is pushing to keep it(shocking I know, but she likes how she feels in the car)...but I don't feel like fighting with that tiny back seat with a carseat, and on the coupe the trunk space is little to none. I'm in minneapolis MN and this winter has been quite mild...I've had it out recently on a few 40 plus days since there was no snow on the ground, but generally winters are snowy and the added AWD could really help a brother out.

You should Join MyG37.com and post in the MN G Crew section. You can find it at the bottom of the website.

That is where all of us chat.
