did a rack and pinion of maxima 05 fit on G35 sedan 04 ? help
hello, I wanted to know if a 05 maxima rack and pinion fit on my G35 sedan 2004?
Just to put you in context, when I buy my G35 at 102 000kms (May 2011) there was a knocking noise coming from the front .. I did it inspected by nissan dealer and he told me that my rod bushing compression were bad and that was causing my noise and every time I hit a hole. I change my rear link because they were bad, I change my sway bar bushing in front, my 2 compression rod bushing in front, a suspension arm bushing front to because it was teared. It did not solve my problem. I put headphones on the shocks on my arm suspension and tie-rod, on my worst, I heard a noise but I didn't find where .. Later at the garage, in October, they told me i had an inner tie-rod becoming bad, so I did it change and he align my car at the same time. After having done the job, he calls me and tells me that my sound knock knock in front was my shaft in my rack was slack and causing my knock knock and if I not change my rack, at long term, it may to start fleeing. I might be finding a use rack from a guy having smaching his maxima in the front and he sells the rack. It have 125 000 kms on it. The guy at the garage told me it was the same rack, but before buying, I would be sure that it will fit.
Can anyone tell me more about it? Thank you
