2005 G35 Sedan pics Twilight Blue / Stone / Sport Pkg / Sunroof / Tint / Rear Spoiler. Outgrew my 1997 Honda Prelude but couldn't have picked a better choice for its replacement - G35 is sporty but more grown up and refined. The twilight blue exterior color contrasts nicely with the stone leather interior.

Congrats on your new ride, and welcome to our G35 site.
Your G will be much more fun than the Honda.
Post some pics, Twi-Blue is rare compared to other colours.
Enjoy.....

Congrats!!! Nice car but your camera is so so...haha...1 megapixel camera? The car looks almost black from certain angle. I was thinking about twilight blue too but they don't come with black interior, thus I got black/black. Is yours metallic paint? The salesperson saids mines is but I don't see the metallic sparkles under the black color.

As an owner of an 04.5 in Twilight Blue, I gotta say I love that stone interior. The graphite was too dark for us, and I'm just not in love with the willow/blue combo.

Thanks! Yeah, sorry about the low-res pics; I had to compress to < 100kB to upload. The twilight blue is a very dark blue; even in person in less-than-direct light it almost looks black. The paint is metallic, and it too shows up best in brighter light. My last car was black/black, and I agree that looks really sharp. I went with a light interior in part to be more compatible with Texas summers. Whether twilight blue will be easier to keep clean than black is yet to be determined; the car is still dealer-delivery fresh (but that won't be the case in a few days!)

Congrats & welcome

The new stone interior looks great with the TB exterior.
Great choice

Dlmart,

does your car have some kind of side graphic or is that the light? Nice pics BTW, love the rims.

It's a side graphic (stripe) added by the dealer along with tint. I had no say in the matter - they both had already been applied. My previous car had a similar stripe also, so I didn't mind, plus this one has a snazzy Infiniti logo at the end of the front quarter panel (the pic below shows it better).

The rims were a sell for me also. I was looking for an '05 Sedan with the Sport-tuned suspension package which includes those rims but not the Premium package (trying to save a few pennies). Among the 3 dealerships in Dallas/Fort Worth, there were only a handful in inventory with that combination.

They look the same. The difference, according to the '05 brochures, is that the Coupe wheels with the Sport-tuned Suspension package are 19" while the Sedan wheels with the Sport-tuned Suspension package are 18".

Just curious...where are you located? Seems like your sun is still out. You are definitely not in the 50 states.

Dallas, TX. I took lots of pics the day I got her, 12/31/2004, which are the ones I posted. I'm still doing my "homework" reading through the owner's manual. It's interesting that the Caution about the Break-In schedule is about 3/4 into the manual! I've already violated the "keep under 4,000 rpms" and "avoid quick starts" a couple of times. My salesperson commented that there is no real break-in period for this car, but the manual indicates otherwise. But based on comments from the threads about break-in, I shouldn't worry too much.

break-in

There's two different camps on that subject as you read/hear.

Nice ride. Congrats and welcome!
