Replacing Interior Lights with LED's

I'm interested in changing out my interior lights with white LED's. Probably just the overhead lights and the doors. I searched the forum and it was helpful but I didn't really find much.

What exactly do I need and where I can I find them? How much will this cost in total and how easy is this to do? From what I've read it's fairly simple.

2006 G35X

Thanks!

Awesome thanks! What are the lumens of the stock lights? Trying to decide which package to go with. Will the 64's be too dim?

I think stage 1 is probably about the same brightness as stock.

I went with stage 2 and it's perfect.

Also, how long have you had them in for?

I've had these in for 3-4 months now.

License plate bulbs were a part of the Diode Dynamics kit.

I'll wait until it gets dark outside, and then go see if I can get a good interior shot.

Several vendors on this board supply interior LED's. I think they run for about $40 for an interior set for the sedan. The vendor threads have pics as well.

Did you get them in white or blue? the sidemarkers and license plate lights look blueish...

only reason I ask is because I ordered some various white LEDs from ddmtuning and some were pure white while others were purple-ish...

Sidemarkers are white, license plate bulbs are blue. Not sure why the sidemarkers came out blueish in the picture.

I got all mine on eBay for under $10. That's the way to go. Just have to make sure you get bright ones. Some aren't.
