Needed - One G35 Sedan 18" OEM Wheel :)

My car was involved in an accident a while back and one of the wheels was damaged. The shop had it refinished to save me a few bucks - but the paint is starting to peel and I'm irritated

Anyone have a spare 18" Sport wheel laying around?

craiglist is your best bet or a junkyard!

Since it isn't an emergency you should be able to find one

I hit up car-part first thing and after getting pictures of half a dozen wheels - they are all sub optimal. I'm looking for as close to a perfect wheel as I can get. I'm probably just going to have to buy new. I was hoping to find a car nut who babied his car but bought after market wheels

buying new you will spend a fortune. Getting a banged up wheel and having it professionally refinished will prob be your best bet

I hear ya man. I'm on my second refinished wheel in about 6 months - I'm not sure if it's these wheels or what - but the paint just won't stick.

I thought it might just be shoddy workmanship - so the second take was from a different shop. Both shops were reputable (according to reviews that I could find) wheel repair shops. They were awesome about it and have refunded me. I just think I'm done with the wheel repair process. I would have paid $500 (the apparent cost of a new wheel) in hindsight to avoid the headache.

Not to mention that hypersilver is nearly impossible to match (if that's the color those wheels are from the factory). I've been looking for a decently priced Coupe 18 to replace one that's lighter than the other three and haven't found anything for a reasonable price. It's not easy to find used wheels in good condition.
