Bumper install and paint estimate

I am looking to purchase an Ionic OEM front lip and get it installed because the X bumper + the OEM lip looks great. Anyways I was planning on getting the entire front bumper repainted when I get the lip installed because its full of rock chips and just in general faded. I'm afraid that I could tell a difference. So how much should I expect for install + repainting the whole front bumper?

I may be wrong, but wouldn't painting the entire bumper so it doesn't match the rest of the car.. look worse than the Ionic lip being a slightly different shade than the bumper?

This question always gets asked. And the thing is no one really knows. Sure someone can give u an estimate but reality is if u wanna know u need to check the price ranges your local shops charge. When i was looking at price for Paint i saw ranges of 200-650. For paint Only Yea. So figure out how much the shops charge in your area. also dont let price lure you in.. its a mistake if you do that.. count on reviews too.. yelp might come in handy.

Thanks man, Just asking to get a general range because I feel like shops always try to rip me off because I'm young (18) and driving a nice car. I once got quoted like $300 to install my Y-Pipe and Midpipe. Got it installed for $80

I just got my rear bumper repainted and it looks great with the rest of the car. The car is an 06 and the paint is in great shape so you can't really tell a difference. Just the front bumper, like on all cars, has taken a beating from rock chips, salt, etc.

I'm actually curious about this myself. The paint on my front bumper is starting to peel. Probably just gonna drive around and get a few quotes. How much is the ionic front lip btw?

Same here...got a bump of rock chips since i drive on the freeway 80 percent of the time. I wonder if it cost an arm and a leg to fix the chips...or should i just repaint the whole damn thang

I've been getting quotes for mine as well & have been quoted anywhere from $350-850

Marc, an unpainted Ionic lip is $249 shipped.
