~TunerMax's Custom Gauge Face ~

Just wanted to share with you guys, after a couple months of testing/changing I finally got the gauge face put together.

I just got it in hand today, and I look forward to finishing the mad-man LED work behind it soon, see THIS THREAD for that on-going fiasco.

The final design before print
You'll note the 'ghosted' Mt.Fuji logos in the Speedo/Tach, these will only be visible when the lights are on. The other Mt.Fuji at the bottom will only be visible during the daytime, and NOT when lights are on:

Size: 44.1 KB

Hard Copy, with protective cover on:

Size: 191.9 KB

Undressing, the finish is HIGH GLOSS Piano Black:

Size: 188.0 KB

The "ghosted" Mt.Fuji logo's won't be visible when the lights are off, you can see them in the pic because the cardboard is right against the face, once mounted you won't see that.

Welcome to the custom gauge face club hehe.

No red line on your Tach, hopefully you dont hit the rev limiter when getting on it.

Thanks Marcus

I didn't want a red-line actually. I'm doing a colour-changing LED job on this and about half the colours will not show the redline if it was printed on. It'll just be a 'blacked out' area.

That, and my redline is never used, and when I get to the point where I'm using the full RPM range, it won't be a stock redline anyways.

Canadian, no need for MPH, would just clutter it up.

I can't wait to get this together, the only thing stopping me is a huge lack of time, I need to fab up some way to light up the needles nice and bright before I hook everything together.

The rest is done and waiting though.

I worked with Al over at BlackCat Custom to get the production of this done, he did a great job tolerating my pickiness and attention to detail, we went through quite a few emails, phone calls, photoshopped pics, samples, etc so I could get what I wanted.

The most difficult part was I was stuck on, and wanted the block style notches, and he had to make that from scratch.
I don't think he regrets doing it though, especially considering how good it turned out

That cat I can't let out of the bag. Al does a basic gauge face for around $110 I think, which is an absolute STEAL. This is NOT a basic gauge face job though.
