Tire advice: Bridgestone Turanza Serenity vs. Pirelli P-Zero Nero
Hi guys,
I need some advice on which tire to get. Please keep in mind that I live in GTVA, BC, and that our tire selection is quite limited compared to people in the States.
I'm currently comparing the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity vs. the Pirelli P-Zero Nero all seasons. My driving style may be a bit aggressive but not overly so, and I'm primarily looking for a set of tires that will last (I know it won't be that long though).
Performance isn't top priority for me but it is important. I look for more tread life & fuel economy (haha I know).
Thanks!

The Turanza Serenity ranks 4th of 28 "Grand Touring All Season" tires in this owner survey:

The P Zero Nero ranks 13th of 24 "Max Performance Summer" in this owner survey:

They are tires from two different categories. The P Zero Nero is not an all season tire. If comfort, bad weather performance, tread life, etc. are important to you stay away from that "Max Performance" category. If performance in good weather on a smooth, dry road is all you need; at least get a tire in the upper quarter of the rankings.
I can tell you this about the Serenity: it outperforms the racing tires of a few decades ago, and works in the rain and show as a bonus -- and rides as smooth as silk. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

Thank you for the reply! I've been away for a few days but I took your advice and wanted to go with the Turanza.
Unfortunately, all my local dealers are telling me that the Turanza is out-of-stock at the warehouses and will take 2-3 months to arrive. I have winter tires on right now and can't wait that long (it's already 12C in my area on a "cold" day).
As an alternative, one of my dealers suggested the Nokian Entyre.
Thanks though!
