Armrest replacement question

Hello All,

Quick question. I'm looking to get my driver side arm rest re-upholstered by redlinegoods.com

It is in bad shape. My center arm rest is starting to peel in certain spots also.

Question... If I remove the whole driver side door panel with the arm rest, can the actual arm rest be unbolted from the panel itself? If so, I could ship the arm rest only instead of the entire panel.

I have an '06 G35x. Any help or previous experience would be helpful.

If this works, redlinegoods said they would be able to do this for sedans since they've only done previous work with 350z's and coupes. See attached pics for the damage to the left arm rest.

If all pans out, going to do black preforated leather and orange stitching to match our dash lights.

Thanks!

No, they do not detach. It's bonded.

First off, thanks for the reply! Secondly, what do you mean by Bonded? I mean, I know what you mean but can you please point out what I should be looking at in the pic?

I can't believe they would design these things that stupidly. Ridiculous!

Well, I guess I'm going to have to send the entire door panel then. F this.
