Hi guys! I happen to own a 07 G35 coupe. I asked the coupe guys whats the best intake for your buck and the best advice i recieived was a 350 Z tube with a K&N cone filter. Sounds amazing. Whats the best one for a 05 G35 X sedan!? Asking for my buddy. I made him get the car. :-)

 

Do a z tube and just a dry panel filter like an apexi.

 

The only things intakes do is make it sound a little more pronounced at higher rpm. I personally wouldn't get one because I only take my car to redline about once every three weeks or so. Instead I have a coupe midpipe which I can enjoy at all rpms.

 

I have a Z-tube, a rev-up airbox and Amsoil dry filter and it sounds great. The OEM intake is designed very well, so power gains are minimal. The increased induction noise from the VQ is where its at.

 

I would say z-tube and JWT .
