new to the G!

hello all, just wanted to introduce myself, name is Jem from elk grove, Ca. the wife and I just purchased a white 2006 sedan and Ive been reading around the forum and it appears that mods are endless. I know for sure im going to get an ear full from the wifey as this project grows. cheers everyone

Do what I do...Have parts delivered to your parents house, where they sit in a room that she never goes in when she's there. Then plan a day to install whatever has come and tell her you're going over to help your parents with something she hates (in my case, farm work) so she stays home and leaves you to your business of installing all your parts.

My GF never looks at my car, so she never notices anything, and the one time she did ride in it, I just told her I had a hole in my exhaust and turned the bass way up on my stereo. She didn't even notice that I swapped/changed most of my interior....clueless GF FTW!

Haha- love it! My wife rolls her eyes whenever I begin talking about mods...put in my z-tube/pop charger and she couldn't hear a difference....women!

Cool, I'm not the only one. I told the wife I needed brakes... I used this as an opportunity to upgrade to Akebono's. She couldn't tell a difference. Welcome to the club!
