Cheap tires may always be noisy. Also if they are worn bad they will also be noisy. I had some nitto nt05's on mine and loved them... Until they wore out in 4 months and there was no warranty so I was sol. The bridgestones that came with them from the factory (re050 I think) are going to be the best for ya I would say. But that's just my $.02
^^ Thanks, I was going to find out the exact OEM tires that comes with them; I'm going to assume its one of the better options when picking out tires for these wheels. Im starting to get used to the noise but I'm looking forward to next summer when I can buy new tires

OEM sizes are boring, a 245/255 setup will fit nicely on those wheels. And there are many better tire options available compared to what the dealership will use.Originally Posted by Kingd

^Mainly depends on the conditions your expecting to be driving in and your budget. As well as what your looking to get out of a tire; wet/dry performance, longevity...etc. The best tire I've used so far was the Yokohama Advan AD08 but that was only in summer conditions.
^I have a brand new set of wheels for the winter months, so Im looking for something just for the summer and the odd rainy days. As far as budget Im not looking for something really expensive (between medium and high range); Im looking for something comfortable, that will last me a few seasons and tires thats not so noisy.

I love my Bridgestone RE970AS 255/35 rear and 245/35 front setup. Medium price, great in the rain, not too noisy (especially compared to worn RE050s!!)

I've been researching for a while, but I'm getting mixed information about rubbing and no rubbing.
Does the 19" OEM Rays fit on the G Sedan without rubbing or other problems (Stock everything)?

Depends more on the tire than the wheels. Stock size 245/40 rear on stock springs should always fit without rubbing, 255/35 with coupe springs in back I had to roll the fenders a bit. Also depends on your drop (if any). And you don't really want to mount 19s without a drop, your sedan will look like a 4x4.Originally Posted by a-Sarkar

Yeah, it fit with no rubbing issues! But I will eventually do some dropping soon, but it isn't as high as I thought they would turn out with stock everything, but thanks for the help!Originally Posted by Swivel

I just put 19" coupe Rays on my 04 Sedan today. Running 245/40R19 rear and 225/40R19 front. Stock height for now (see photo). The fit is perfect. rears are basically flush with the top of the fender, but I think with anything up to a 2" drop there should be no problems.
Aside: I weighed the stock wheels/tires and the new ones prior to the stock. I just used and old bathroom scale so these numbers may be off by a lb or so, but the stock 17s with 225/55R17 tires weigh 44lbs each, and the new rears with 245/40R19 Continentals weigh 51lbs. The fronts are probably a little lighter but I didn't weigh them.
So expect the larger set to add between 22-28lbs to your curb weight, dependent on your choice of tires. .
Going to do a G/Z spring swap in the next few days, so watch this space.
Sorry for the crappy phone pic - my GF borrowed my good camera for the weekend.
