READY: Rear lights clear black vinyl + cutting

So, it was red rear lights on a perl white car.
And I wanted to make it black, but without reduction of luminosity.
And I made this!

First, it was clear vinyl, to protect a lamp from cutting.
Than it was clear black vinyl, special for rear lights.
Than manually cutting.
Indeed, clear black vinyl don’t make reduction of luminosity
But final result I’m very like.

Difference between cutting and uncutting lights:

Photo is not so good, it looks perfect in real life.

The thing is, he did this great job leaving the Tailight/Brake portion so it wouldn't be dimmed down, and the visual looks great too.

But the signals are black. So we have good lighting from your tails/brakes but not the signals, which need it the most, as they're already weak asz incandecents.

IJS. Unless he's dones something I'm not seeing. Would be nice to see the intensity of the signals. Still I love the ingenuity here. Even though for me, the result still looks like cheap tailight tinting/spray that wrecks decent looking OEM lights. especially on a white car. Pic #1 > Pic #2 all day long.

OK, I'll do this in a week-end
All compare, and a good photo on a good camera.

Infiniti logo - is a next stage, will be in a week-end too, you outstripped me in a realisation.
Doing a mask for it now

Yea when i blacked out my tail lights sith paint GTR style my turn signals were tinted and were so dim during the day that i got hassled by the cops and had to remove the paint in that area. I dont think his would be as bad as mine were though since it's a smoked overlay, mine was automotive paint that wasnt reduced enough
