So I have this extra HID ballast and bulb set from my last car, and I am bored. I'm thinking of putting in the HID's into the fog lights as I did on my old TL-S.

Has anyone here done this mod, is there any major negatives to do this? I know alot of people with other cars can get actual precipiation in their housing after messing with it, leading to actual fog in the housing which throws off light patterns. Dont know if it happens with this car/housing. Any negitives would be welcome posting below before I make the jump.

(ps, I did do a search on this, but did not find enough specific answers =)

 

You lose your high beams unless you have a dual H4 HID set up.. If you don't have a conversion kit, I think you will get fog. I tried a retro-fit with my R6 and ended up having to split the housing clean the fog and reglue it back togeather.
