How do I remove driver seat? I need to redo a weld that broke.

Hi, I am looking for some help removing the driver seat on a 2003 sedan.

I have attempted to take off the bolts that connect it to the rails, but there is 1 that I can not get to, it is 2nd from the front and on the right. There is a bunch of motors and mechanical stuff in the way.

IF I did manage to get it off, I dont know how I would get it back on.

I need to remove the seat to redo a weld FYI

Anyone have any advice?

Am I doinitwrong?

The seat is held only by 4 bolts, if thats the only bolt that preventing you from get it out then you will have to get it off some how.

I didnt know it was only held on by 4 bolts, I was trying to remove 8 bolts (Holds it to the rail)

I wasnt able to find any other bolts. Would you be able to point me in a direction of where to look?

Thanks

Are you having problems getting the Seat out of the car its self, or getting the seat out of the rails them-self's?

Im having trouble getting the seat off of the rails right now, any tricks to get it out of the car would be helpful too, once I get it off the rails.

Leave the rails attached to the seat, take off the four bolts that bolt the seat to the floor. Tip the seat back and undo all of the plugs, then just lift the seat out. I would unplug the negative terminal of the battery just to be safe.

Can you give me an idea of where those bolts are? Are they underneath the carpet or something?

There are plastic covers over the bolts that pry up with a flat head screwdriver. They are at the front and back of the rails.
