rear brake lite/window

Not sure where to post this question/rant. I have't been on line for awhile, I just don't drive much these days, mostly riding my BlackBird. Ex. less than 3,000 kms since Jan, 9,000 kms of riding since April.

The rear brake lite, rear window, gave out. I ordered an oem replacement. WTF, it's only two led lites!!!! Not the 6 leds of the original. When I asked the dealer he said that's the new oem replacement. It sucks! Looks like a cheap arsed aftermarket add on. Plus it cost a bundle to buy and replace. Has Infiniti gone the cheap assed route?

It there an actual Infiniti site I can express my displeasure to? Or am I just sucking the big one here? I can't do the work myself. I don't think they actually trouble shoot the part just replace it.Furthermore, while I'm ranting, at 125,000 kms, it shouldn't die anyway, imho. '03 G 35 Sedan.

Common problem it seems on these cars. If you type it into Google there's a bunch of hits. There's a possibility they went to a 2 led light to simplify the circuit, or reduce the risk of one failing and ruining the whole light. Sucks, but it might work more reliably.

Just unplug it and buy an oem spoiler with led

It's installed, but I'm pissed with the look.
