When will we see the G get a complete redesign?

I tend to hold onto my cars for around 8-10 years so it's not a big deal to me. I know we have seen a refresh in 2005, but still basically the same car as in 03/04. Do you expect 2007 or 2009 we will see a new G? Just curious....

I believe they're slated to replace it with the next Skyline in '07. I don't remember where I read that, but four years is a decent life for a body style.

Really not much of a refresh for 05 sedan. I like my 04 hood, the 05 is just as nice, just more like the coupe. I'll bet most non g enthusiats would not even notice the differences. The body changes are slight. The interior center stack materials are improved and the new temp and radio ***** are improved. I don't think the extra HP will make much of a difference save for bragging rights. Oh, newer wheels are nicer. Infiniti is just trying to make the whole line have more of a family resemblance. Check out the New M35 and M45. When I first looked at the photo shoot in progress at the Miami Beach Covention Center car show in Nov 04, I thought I was looking at the G with some cool upgrades but it was the M.

I agree. Before we see a new G35, I think the FX will get a refresh (this Fall) and hopefully the Q45 replacement (Spring or Fall of '06).

That's a big attraction for me towards the M. It's very reminiscent of the G-Sedan but with a V-8 option. .......... YESSS

Anyone has any update about when the G will be redesigned? Will the 2007 model (sold at the end of 2006 I suppose) be redesigned completely? I really need to know this. I know that the GTR is supposed to be sold 2008, but what about the new G?

On a side note, u guys know when the new M3 will be sold?

I would assume the next Gen G35 will be a 2008 model it's the bread and butter sedan for the line up they would not want to share it's redesign and all the press with the debute of the GTR so I would say 2007 as a 2008 model...

I agree, since the new M came out in '05 as an '06, I think if the next G was to be an '07, there may not have been an '06, and it would come out next spring as an '07, But no one can read Infiniti's mind on this, LOL.

I think it will come out in 07 as an 08 model. The IS and TL are both on 5 year cycles, so i doubt infiniti will go with 4 years
