Hello all,

I recently replaced my MAF sensor from one that I bought on ebay which was used but came off a g35. After driving around for a week or so my service engine soon light came on. My mechanic mentioned I would need a brand new MAF and not a used one even though it was from an g35. Is there any truth to that? I havent pulled the codes but when he was replacing the MAF the first time he did say the light will come back on and low and behold it has. What to do?

 

I wouldn't see why if the maf is not the issue.... Seems like there is an alternate problem

 

I would get the codes and see what they're saying...either ask the mechanic for them or see if a friend can pull them up for you.
