I'm just waiting on my muffler and im going to install both in one shot.

yeah i absolutely love it, gives it an OEM + sound. Loud at first then it breaks in and quiets down a little bit. no drone and a beautiful deep tone, No rasp. personally my fav exhaust sound.

Didnt' know that, that's cool!

I swapped mine a couple weekends ago, that midpipe was like 60-80lbs!!! couldn't believe how heavy it was.

I am a little disappointed, I have FI resonated test pipes and swapping to the coupe midpipe created a nasty rasp noise. If it wasn't so insanely heavy, I'd have put it back on.

Anyone know the weight difference between the 03/04 Midpipe and the 05/06 midpipe?

The 03-04 midpipe is just under 40 lbs or so, and the 05-05 midpipe should be somewhere near 30. For comparison, the coupe midpipe is about 10 lbs.

From what I remember when I swapped my 05 midpipe out for the coupe midpipe, the coupe midpipe was noticably lighter.

Mine must have been packed full of rust I just weighed it at 54 lbs. It was pretty crusty though (canada).

Thanks so much for this info Dofu

So it looks like I want to find an 05-06 coupe midpipe for my 06 sedan? A bit of conflicting/mixed info.
