Painting or Painted Rear bumper valence on 05-06 sedan

I want to paint the lower grey valance part of the bumper gloss black. I've searched but not found anything about doing this.

This is a very common thing amongst coupe owners as their valence is more prominent than the sedans.

Has anyone done this or have any pictures?

I'm talking the very bottom of bumper that is grey:

Most people buy a rear lip. There are some vendors on here that sell a nismo replica lip. It's not that expensive and will look much better than just painting the lower part of the bumper

I do realize that, and they look great-- but my budget prevents me from purchasing the lip, plus the 3-stage IP paint will cost me a fortune.

I need feedback from people that have done this, has anyone done this?

Rear lip will only fit 03/04 bumpers.

Here is mine OP, I think this is the look your going for.

Also, why does your rear emblem look so massive!

Yes! Thanks this is what I'm wanting to do. I'll also paint my front oem vents on the bumper.

I have a QX56 rear emblem, it's pretty big. Haha

Same thing I was wondering. I have an 03 OB sedan, does anyone know how much it would cost to get it painted?

What are you thinking about doing on an OB sedan? If your car is black, this part is already black :S

Oh, I assumed it was an 05 for some reason.

IMO just paint the whole thing black, not sure how much it would run you. For best results, paint the sideskirts and the bottom of front bumper as well

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Well, paint the sideskirts and rear bumper, and get a front lip. Just wondering how much it will cost me.
