I don't know if you have a VIP Auto Parts where you live but they have an amazing headlight restoration. It was 60 bucks. Made mine look brand new. Its a 3 step process I believe. I know they wet sand them and then polish.

Hey guys, first post here (18 months of reading as a guest though) !

I used the 3M restoration yesterday and it worked amazingly, for 26$ CAD.

Took me about 90 minutes, and it was very simple to do, I'd recommend it !!

Yep, I like using Meguiar's Cleaner Wax on mine.

I just finished researching this and went with the 3M kit, but haven't used it yet. I'll be applying the minwax UV coating too. From everywhere I read, this netted the best results.

Just take your time and don't go faster than you should, 3M kit rocks and just needs time :P

Awesome, feels good to hear another good review of it. I'll definitely take my time... i'm a perfectionist which drives me mad at times! haha

I did my wife's hyundai accent today and it went great once again, faster than the G35 in fact. And one of my dad's Volvo XC70, as he got a new headlight on one side and the passenger was looking glazed. This one was hard to do, the plastic is much harder and I couldn't sand it properly, should have done more primary sandings as there is still some glare in it :/
