thanks for the replies everyone, and ecpecially the pics, they look good, but im still torn, i had a black acura TSX with a spoiler and dark tint, it looked real sharp, so im feeling that my DG G needs some flair....maybe ill start with tint

"All I've noticed is that at high speeds, this car is bouncy as hell on the freeway, my 400lb Altima felt more stable doing 100 on the freeway and it had no spoiler."

I can't agree. Here in CA we have some of the worst highways in America (i.e. they still use concrete on the highways here), and the G (with sport suspension) feels ever so compliant/stable.

The dealer would not take it off obviously, odds of finding a 6 MT DG with Navi I guess I just shouldn't have gotten the car then

thanks guys!!!
NO SPOILER!!!!!!!!! For me the look is cleaner without it. The spoiler cheapens the car IMHO.

I have had spoilers on my last 2 cars, and liked their looks. I was going to get one installed on my 05, but you know what? I have changed my mind I think the 05 for some reason looks better without.
The only reason I still might eventually get one is because of my "pet peeve" with this car, "NOTHING to grab onto when you are opening the trunk" , The stock spoiler would make a great handle to open the trunk with, that is what I always used on my last 2 cars.

your right, i hate that fact, i dont want to ruin my wax job, so if you dont want to touch the body you have to hold your arm up, palms facing up, grab that stupid handle...QUICKLY bring it down and move slightly as to not smack your self in the face.....

i fell in love with the QX56 and its one touch trunk closer upper thingy

i also think the 03, 03.5 and 04.75 look better than the 05 with the spoiler, i think its the round lights in the back, which imo look better than the older style...

Place for hand while closing trunk

I have the Xpel clear bra rear bumper kit installed on my sedan. I mentioned to the installer that there is no good place to place a hand when closing the trunk. He cut a 3 or 4 inch strip of the clear bra material and adhered it on the trunk lid right where it meets the bumper when closed. I place a couple of fingers on it while closing the trunk and never touch the paint. Its practically invisible on the DG color.

Crapweasel, the spoiler is great, because the brake light is located on the underside of the spoiler, so you don't have to worry about messing up any paint. I knew I paid $550 for a reason, a handle for my trunk

I personally like the G without the spoilers... but if you must, the lip spoiler looks ok. Do you what you want

When i got my g35 6mt with just the premuim package, i ask for them to install the spoiler with the dealer said sure for $300. but thats not the areo kit which includes the Underbody Diffusers. plus the areo kit removes the 3rd brake light from inside the car.
I added the spoiler but now i have two 3rd brake lights, so i just unplugged the one from inside the car. looks much better.

Theres No Way To Remove The Brake Light From The Back if you decide to get a spoiler later?
