Angry Pumping Gas

Hey guess I have done a search and came up with nothing. has any1 else had an issue when trying to pump gas and the gas handle stops pumping gas. I can start pumping gas for just a few seconds and the pump shuts off like if the car is full. Its not the issue that people have tring to fill up. Im having an issue just pumping gas period. This happens every time i try to pump gas doesnt matter if the car is on empty 1/2 full doesnt matter.

If I remember correctly, this was an issue in first gen cars. I think there was a TSB / recall on it.

yah i have the same problem... just started happening. i usually just pull out the pump a little further and keep filling the gas tank up.

if ther was a recall on it, can i still get it fixed? if it just started happening?

Service bulletin ITB08-041a "Hard to Fill Fuel Tank"

You'll need part #'s 17366-EY80A (cut bracket) and 17342-01A00 (o-ring). Think it was around $10-$15 for everything.

Hope that helps!

I don't think they will fox it unless it is under warranty. They might do a good faith repair if you are the original owner. However that is up to the dealer.

I also had that happen to my car. I'll go to a different gas station than that problem goes away.

I have to do that with my 2011 Frontier also. I just barely "put it in".

So i tried the "pull out" method and i can actually hear the gas sound like it is getting blocked or stuck down the next of the tank.

I have had that problem on my 2006 G35x. It only happens every now and again. I will try "pulling out" when it happens in the future. Thanks!
