I am ready to buy an 05 G35 Sedan, and have decided to get the black obsidian color, I was just wondering if they come in factory tints or if they dont come in factory tints (which I think they dont) which tint is the best quality for the g35?

I believe that all the G35 (maybe not the base) have factory tinted windows. Most do an aftermarket tint as well however.

I'm under the impression that from Nissan, the G35 comes stock with a UV type tint. Whether or not that really changes / tints the window I'm not sure.

Check out the Detailing section for threads about tint recommendations. Personally, I choose Huper Optik, and it has worked out great for me.

it is slightly darker on the side/rear windows then the front windshield. i wouldn't really call it a tint. I usually tint my cars 15-20% in the back and rear sides, and 30-35% up front. Some find that it's too dark and are worried about visibility espcially for night time. I think I'm just more used to relatively dark tint on cars.

%6 is chill, I had it on the back windows of my last car and it really keeps it much cooler in the car. Problem about putting it all around, how can the ladies check you out in a nice car if you have the windows all tinted up. So I am debating on how light of a tint to go.

Just curious where you got your Huper tint installed? And how much? There aren't too many tint places that installs them around SoCal...
Did you get the ceramic type? 30? 40?
