How many used the internet/fleet manager?

Guess the title says it all, but I was wondering how many people went directly through the internet/fleet manager when buying a new G? Thanks.

I did to. I live in Vegas and used the internet to buy a car in LA. Saved nearly 3000.00

Were you guys able to order your Gs, or did you take delivery on some thing they had already on the lot?

I did (used the internet contact) and I did (ordered my G the way I wanted it)

Still waiting for it to come in. Supposed to be in in the next few weeks.

No negotiating for me, fortunately, as my company is on the VPP list and I can purchase the car at around $400 to $500 over invoice.

I did. I called them to see if the car actually existed on their lot. Not only did I not have to haggle at all, they delivered the car to me 300 miles in person for a $50 fee. Best buying experience I have ever had. I had haggling with a passion.

Look at www.infiniti.com search through dealer inventory, find some cars with the options you want. I made a list of about 40 cars with 6 speeds that were either at the dealers or on the way. I worked with dealers until one would sell a car at a price I wanted. Just so happen the car came to the dealers while I was there buying it, after I bought it, I went outside, checked it out, picked it up a few hours later after they cleaned her up

We did, and I’d definitely use them again. We were going to order a car, but they had one scheduled to arrive in a month that had everything I wanted. Once we claimed it, the car arrived in one week. Great service and it was nice not to waste my entire day haggling on a price.

I used the internet/fleet guys at Costa Mesa Infiniti (Bryan and Frank).. it was the most hassle free car buying experience ever.. and that included the lady in the Finance department.. I emailed them ahead of time before going in, they quoted me $700 over invoice.. when I went into the dealership, I got another $400 off or so from about 15 minutes of "haggling" (I wouldnt call it haggling since it was more just messing around.. but it didnt feel right to buy a car without asking for SOME kind of discount from the salesperson..)

I didn't special order and they seemed very adamant about me buying something off of the lot.. but they said thats why they were willing to discount it further..

BTW, I got a 2005 5AT Diamond Graphite/Graphite with Premium and Sport..

Yes.

Ordered my initial car through the Internet/Fleet Sales manager of a dealership, agreed to pay $1,000 over dealer invoice for a fully loaded 6MT, which were hard to come by in late 2003, when I ordered.

Waited 4 months, no car - then "stumbled" upon a fully loaded one at my local dealership's inventory, by surfing the Infiniti.com website at 2:00 AM (car was not on the site at 10:00 PM night before). Called at 8:00 AM, had the Internet sales manager "tag" the car as sold, and was there to drive it away 1 hour later. Paid $50 under dealer invoice, due to $5,000 internet rebate then in effect. It was a fluke that they had the car, was ordered and then order was cancelled 2 days before the car arrived, so they put it into general inventory, where I stumbled across it. Cancelled my previous order without penalty (that dealer said they'd have no problem selling a fully loaded 6MT sedan, when it arrived).

P.S.- Could have sold the car for profit right there in the parking lot when I was picking it up - was offered $2,500 to just "walk away", but I didn't want to wait any longer for my car.

My $0.02

Paid around $150 over invoice in SoCal for an 05 sedan.....easiest car buying experience ever. Haggled on the phone for 30min, in and out the dealership in 2 hours. It was so easy it made me think maybe I could have gotten a better deal. Nah~ good enough.

Local dealers in No. Virginia wouldn't budge. Best I could get from them was $500 below MSRP!

Don't think so!

Ended up buying from Grubbs Infiniti and had it shipped to Virginia. Even with the shipping charge, I got my G for $3000 less than these clowns were selling them for up here.

BTW - I'm retired military, so I took advantage of Grubbs invoice pricing deal for US Armed Forces.

Costa Mesa Infiniti was great. Their fleet/internet sales guys were great. They didn't have my car anywhere, but saw that it was on order with them and would be delivered soon. For some reason mine was pretty hard to find. 05/DG/Sport/Prem. But painless and easy to deal with.
