Of all the rotten luck!!!

So my wife and I brought our first son into the world in September and as a consequence we sold her dodge stratus coupe to pay the hospital bills and such.
So we became a one car family and have to figure out who gets the car on which days and all, the wife took the car on Friday so she could do a photo shoot (she's a budding photographer) so that meant she had to come pick me up from work. She went to turn at the light not far from my work and waited till she saw that traffic was stopping for a yellow light (which was really close to turning red) and she got hit by a car that was speeding to get through the light, my wife and four month old are totally fine but as you can see the g has seen better days.
We had it towed but haven't had it looked at by the insurance guys yet.
Looks like I'm going to need a whole new front end. The saddest part is that I just put a Megan racing oe-rs exhaust on it last Saturday and was planning on bragging about that soon, and I also have new slotted brake rotors with pads coming on Tuesday. Sad day.
You guys think its totaled or fixable. My wife was able to start and drive it out of the intersection so the engine should still be good.

Ignore the wife on the side. I'm glad that I took the 19" rays off for winter driving, I'm also very glad that the wife and son are feeling good. The son is only four months old but already chatting up a storm lol.
Sorry for the wordy post guys.

Nope no airbags!! Surprisingly the other car only had a small dent on the fender and a broken headlight (yet the dumb girl driving it had it towed???)
It's obvious that I didn't get so lucky.

Yeah I'm hoping its repairable but in the same breath I know it will probably never be the same.
And it'll be hard to find another g35 around here. They are few and far between and a little overpriced, but. Will be keeping my eyes open. So if anyone comes across a good deal let me know,

No air bags, that great news. Probably fixable if the frame wasn't smacked but a shop can pull that out too. I'd worry more about that lower control arm hahaha and steering rack

Depends insurance company. Some will fix stuff up to 90% loss. Other than hood? Fdrs, bumper, radiator support, rebar its not that bad. Our cars technically have no frame since its unibody. It probably hit In front of the rails so I doubt there is that much damage past the bolt ons. Issue would be the suspension. I have seen the insurance fix worse.

Hard to tell from the pics...Glad they're okay. Air bags didnt blow thats a good sign. I'd say its a 50/50 shot. How many miles on your car?

It looks like you need, fenders, headlights, hood, bumper, grille, radiator support, radiator (judging by fluid on the ground) considering your suspension is okay, I doubt they'd total it.

SO the real question: who was deemed "at fault" by the police, imsurance...etc.
